Kundu Resort Strip: Escort Listings and Visitor Notes

Current listings

Kundu is not a town. It is a purpose-built strip of resort hotels immediately east of Lara, administratively in the Aksu district, sitting about twenty kilometres from Antalya's centre but only ten to fifteen minutes from the airport. What makes it unmistakable is the architecture. The strip is known for themed mega-hotels built as replica landmarks — a Kremlin, a Venetian quarter with canals, a Titanic, a Concorde — and from the coast road it reads as a row of oversized film sets rather than a coastline.

The booking confusion

Most arrivals meet Kundu without having chosen it. Booking sites and tour operators routinely file these properties under "Lara", which is geographically adjacent and commercially convenient, so guests expect a city beach district and find themselves several kilometres further east. It is worth checking your confirmation for the actual address before planning anything around walking distance. The genuinely urban stretch is described separately in our Lara area guide.

Everything is inside

Almost every property here operates all-inclusive, and the strip has no town centre, no independent restaurant scene and no high street to wander into. That is the design rather than an oversight: guests are meant to remain on the grounds, and most do. The practical consequence is that there is nothing nearby to fall back on. If a plan shifts at nine in the evening, there is no café down the road to wait in and no second option a short walk away.

Scale and the perimeter

These resorts are large in a way that catches people out. Gated drives and security barriers sit well back from the coast road, the walk from barrier to lobby can take ten minutes in itself, and the distance from reception to a room block can be similar again. Anyone meeting you needs the property's full registered name, the correct gate and a realistic idea of how long those last few hundred metres take.

Arranging anything here

The eastern hotel corridor is covered by 42 live listings at present. In a closed environment it is the hotel's own rules that decide what is possible, not the listing: ask reception in advance whether visitors are admitted, whether identity registration is required and whether a day pass or wristband system applies, since policies vary between neighbouring properties. Our hotel visit guidance sets out how to raise it. Taxis run directly from the airport and wait at hotel ranks; agree destination and fare in advance, because "Kundu" on its own is not an address.

Basic safety

This is an 18-and-over directory and every arrangement must be consensual and lawful. No money or deposit should change hands before anyone has met. Keep your room number out of public messages, and end any exchange that begins applying pressure or feels coercive.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kundu the same place as Lara?
Not quite. Kundu is a separate resort strip immediately east of Lara, in the Aksu district, although booking sites frequently file its hotels under the Lara name. Check the address on your confirmation before planning anything around walking distance.
How far is Kundu from the airport and the city centre?
The airport is only ten to fifteen minutes away, which is the strip's main practical advantage. The city centre is about twenty kilometres west, so an evening in the old town means a taxi each way.
Are there restaurants or shops outside the hotels?
Essentially none. Kundu has no town centre and no independent restaurant scene, and almost every property is all-inclusive, so guests rarely leave the grounds. Anything you may need has to be arranged in advance.
